Tips and Reminders

• Encourage your child to read every night.  Talk about what is read to increase comprehension. 
• Check planner and homework every night.  Be sure that you carefully check the work that has been completed, and it is ready to turn in the following day.
• Get a general idea of what we are studying in class from the homework.  Ask your child to "teach" you what he or she has learned about these topics.
• Encourage your child to study and review notes each night in a quiet place.
• Remind your child to study their basic math facts each night.
• Check that your child has the necessary supplies to be successful each day.  Many students are low on notebook paper and do not have colored pencils.  Also please help organize the binder each week.
